Shipping and Return Policy
Shipping Policy
Orders are shipped after a processing time of 1-3 business days. Orders placed over the weekend or holidays will not be processed until the next business day. For example, if you place your order on Saturday, we will not start processing your order until Monday.
We currently only shipping within Canada and to the United States.
Shipping times will vary depending on location. Expected shipping time will be between 3 - 14 business days, after processing time. Please note the provided times are an estimate and may not reflect the actual shipping time.
Delays due to weather, holidays, or other unexpected scenarios may be expected.
We offer "flat rate shipping" or "free shipping" depending on the order price and/or the shipping location.
Shipping to Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Newfoundland will cost more than the rest of Canada.
Return Policy & Cancellations
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please note that the original shipping fee is not refundable and the customer will also be responsible for paying the shipping fee for the return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, sealed, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at service@proximitea.ca. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
If you wish to cancel your order, please do so as soon as possible. Once the order is fulfilled and shipped, you will not be able to cancel your order. Refunds and returns can still be requested given it complies with our policy.

Damages and Other Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if there is an issue with your item. Whether it be expired, defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, we will evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method, minus cost of shipping. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
